She holds an A.A.S. degree in Surface and Textile Design from Fashion Institue of Technology NYC.

Tanya designs by the name Schatzi Brown. The Word "Schatzi" is a German term of Endearment, like sweetheart in English.

She is inspired by her many travels; global cultures, colours and nature, she lovees working with watercolours, inks and markers.
